Wayne C. Parker received his MSEE from the University of Arkansas in 1975, after having received his BSEE from John Brown University in 1969.  He joined Texas Instruments in 1969, and returned to that organization in 1975, after graduating from the U of A, as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff.  In 1980, he joined Digital Equipment Corporation, and was a Senior Consulting Engineer with that company’s Semiconductor Engineering Group (SEG) when it was acquired by Compaq. In 2002, Compaq/HP’s Semiconductor Manufacturing and Engineering Groups were acquired by Intel, and Mr. Parker remained with Intel until he retired in July 2006, after spending 37 years in the industry. At that time, he was a Senior Principal Engineer, and led the Special Hardware Design Services team, which contributed to high-performance Intel microprocessor development, including PLL design, gigabit I/O and clock systems, and package design. Since his retirement, he has run the 30-member Parker Golf Group for Seniors (65+ years old).  His additional technical interests include cosmology, quantum mechanics, particle physics, and statistical analyses. Wayne is a Senior Life Member of IEEE, and an Eagle Scout. His outside interests include sports (golf as an active player; baseball, basketball, football, and track and field as an observer with previous personal participation), crockpot cooking, church activity, and Bible study, particularly as current events and new scientific discoveries and technological advances correlate with Biblical prophecy. Wayne currently lives in Marlborough, MA, with Janie, his wife of 54 years. They have three children (two daughters and a son) and four grandchildren (two boys and two girls).
