Timothy Daniel Foster received his BSEE from the University of Arkansas in 2000, followed by his MSEE in 2002.  In 2002, he joined Finite Magic, Inc. in Fayetteville, where he was first a Design Engineer, and then a Senior Engineer. At Finite Magic he consulted on various projects for companies such as Eastel, LaBarge (now Ducommun), and the start-up Roku.  In 2008, after learning Mandarin, he joined ADMG, LLC in Xining, Qinghai, China as a Project Manager, and worked as an Engineering Consultant for Plateau Perspectives, also in Qinghai, China.  During that time, he started a team to translate stories into the spoken Northern Kham Tibetan Yushua dialect.  In 2011, he returned to Finite Magic, and also worked for Robust Device, LLC, both in Fayetteville. One impactful project is the display and motor controller for the Mart Cart mobility scooter, which you may have seen at Walmart.  In 2015, he joined Wolfspeed Power Modules as a Senior Test Engineer in the R&D team. He is currently the Global Operations Test Manager for that company, where he created the Back End Power Modules Test Team.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Arkansas, and has one patent application on file.  Mr. Foster is a member of IEEE and HKN, and also a member of the Northwest Arkansas Beekeeper’s Association.  His outside interests include soccer, hunting, outdoor activities, reading, homebrewing, woodworking, beekeeping and travel.  He is a member of Harvest Community Church.  Tim and his wife Lindsay have three children and live in Fayetteville.
