Osama S. Saadeh received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology, followed by his MSEE and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2007 and 2011, respectively.  He joined the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2011, as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering.  From 2014-2016, he was the Energy Center Director of that University, where he supervised the design, tendering and installation of  50 MW of PV systems at 7 different universities.  In 2017, he joined the German Jordanian University, where he is currently an Associate Professor.  He also serves as the President’s Advisor for Sustainability and Technology Integration, and was the Vice Dean of the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management from September 2002-September 2023.  Dr. Saadeh has a large number of publications to his credit, as well as developing a number of training courses, he is a PI for several internationally funded research projects, with partnerships in Germany, Spain, Italy, Tunisia and Lebanon. He is a senior member of the IEEE, HKN, CIGRE, International Solar Energy Society and the Jordan Engineers Association. Osama currently lives in Amman, Jordan, with his wife and 4 kids.
