Gavin Mitchell received his BSEE from the University of Arkansas in 2006. While in school, he worked as an Engineering Intern for BEI Precision. Following graduation, he joined Arkansas Power Electronics as a Design Engineer. He then worked as a Field Engineer for HD Supply for four years, and joined Square D by Schneider Electric in 2015, as a Project Manager. He later was promoted to Application Engineer, and since 2022, has been a Regional Engineer for that organization. The focus of this role is Power System Studies and Arc Flash Mitigation Design, with an additional focus on protection, control and automation of low voltage and medium voltage power distribution equipment. The role is a combination of design and field work to implement custom solutions. Mr. Mitchell currently lives in Cave Springs, AR with his wife, two daughters, and golden retriever. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing.
