Chip Webber received his BSEE and MSEE from the University of Arkansas in 2003 and 2005, respectively.  Following graduation, he began working at Lynguent, Inc. in Research and Applications.  He remained with that company until 2011, when he moved to American Electric Power as a Senior Engineer.  In 2022, he also took on the role of supervisor for that company for the Modeling Tools group.  He is responsible for modeling tools which calculate the impedance and ratings of electric transmission lines. His group also develops calculations and visualization tools for multi-year economic simulations and many other analyses which aren’t available from off the shelf tools.  Mr. Webber has a number of publications to his credit, and also maintains a couple of websites for non-profit organizations.  When he is not working, he spends time playing ice hockey and skating with his daughter. Chip currently lives in Jenks, OK, with his wife Angela and their two children.
