
Ananta Medury received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Arkansas in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He also received an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2014. During his education, Ananta interned at Baldor Electric working on new product development. Ananta started his career with Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2007, in the Professional Development Rotational Program, where he completed rotations in the RF Power Electronics, Navy Nuclear Power, and the Advanced Technology Lab Semiconductor Physics groups. He transitioned to the RF Power Electronics group where he supported development of low noise, high power electronics supporting airborne radar development programs. Ananta both worked in new product development and in sustaining engineering for existing products to drive product innovation and improvements. Ananta was nominated and selected for the NGES Leadership Training Program, completing the program in 2012. Ananta left Northrop Grumman as a Senior Engineer in 2012 to pursue his MBA. During business school, he worked for the Chief Technology Officer at Emerson Electric, evaluating the effectiveness of their engineering operating model, budget returns, and innovation effectiveness to make recommendations to the leadership team. Post MBA, Ananta started as an associate at AlixPartners, where he currently is a Director. He supports Highly Engineered Product, Aerospace and Defense, and Energy clients to drive EBITDA improvements through organization and operating model design, engineering transformation, operations improvement, and strategy. He has supported numerous clients to redesign their product portfolios, optimize their operations, and drive sustainable change. Ananta resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife Amy. When he is not working, he enjoys cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks and Michigan Wolverines, traveling the world, and reading voraciously.
